KOLKATA, India: Pakistan will play its inaugural match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2016 against Bangladesh at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Wednesday.
Though Pakistan possesses much better batting and bowling attacks than Bangladesh but yet later’s confidence won’t be low at all as the side beat green shirts in their last two T20 encounters.
It is the first time that Bangladesh will play at Eden Gardens since 1990 when it played a one day international (ODI) against Sri Lanka.

There will be another match as well today between England and West Indies at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai as part of the tournament. The match will begin at 07:00 pm as per Pakistan Standard Time (PST).
Earlier last night, New Zealand defeated India by 47 runs in the opening match of the ICC World T20 at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur.
While batting first, New Zealand scored 126 for 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. In reply, India were all out at 79 runs in 18.1 overs.
