Pakistan vs Sri Lanka 3rd Test day two
PALLEKELE: Sri Lanka will resume their first innings on the second day of the third Test match against Pakistan at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium on Saturday.
Earlier on Friday, Pakistan won the toss and elected to field first. When first day of Pallekele Test ended, Sri Lanka were 272 for 8.
For Sri Lanka, the opening batsman FDM Karunaratne scored 130 runs and middle order batsman WU Tharanga scored 46 runs.
On the other hand, Pakistan’s leg spinner Yasir Shah again proved to be lethal against the opposition and bagged 4 wickets. The left-arm fast medium Rahat Ali and the spinner Azhar Ali also took two wickets each.
The Sri Lankan PHT Kaushal and RAS Lakmal are still occupying the crease and remain not out at 17 and 1 respectively.
