LAHORE, Pakistan: The unbeaten Quetta Gladiators will bat first against Lahore Qalandars in the 8th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) in Dubai on Monday night.
The match is scheduled to begin at 09:00 pm PST.
The Quetta Gladiators Captain Sarfraz Ahmed won the toss and elected to field first.
Lahore Qalandars, which has yet to gain a point because it was beaten in both of its previous games, won’t have the services of Chris Gayle for today match.
Ghris Gayle, according to Lahore Qalandars Captain Azhar Ali, has some back issues.
However, the West Indian star has not had a great time in the HBL PSL so far as he only scored 6 runs in his two innings.
In the HBL PSL points table, Quetta Gladiators is occupying the top position after winning three consecutive games whereas Lahore Qalandars is right at the bottom.
Qalandars cannot afford to lose another game but it if happens again today, the side will have an immense pressure in days to come to stay alive in the tournament.
