Pakistan vs Zimbabwe second T20
Pakistan’s players celebrate a wicket during the first of two T20 cricket matches between Pakistan and hosts Zimbabwe at the Harare Sports Club on September 27, 2015.

While bating first after winning the toss, Pakistan scored 136 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in stipulated 20 overs.

The middle-order batsman Shoaib Malik and Wicket Keeper-batsman Muhammad Rizwan remained top scorers for Pakistan with 35 and 33 runs respectively. For Zimbabwe, the right-arm medium bowler Cham Chibhabha took three wickets.

In reply, the Zimbabwean batsmen could manage to score only 123 runs for the loss of 9 wickets. The Zimbabwe Captain Elton Chigumbura made the highest score 31 runs for his side.

Pakistan’s Imad Wasim grabbed four wickets and was declared man of the match for his all-round performance as he also made quick fire 19 runs while batting.

The first T20 between Pakistan and Zimbabwe was a low scoring game as pitch played even slower than had been expected.

Unlike the bowlers, the top order batsmen of both the teams did not perform as well as they should have and got out early in the first match.

The Pakistani Captain Shahid Afridi have asked the batsmen to take up their responsibility and play sensibly so that they could put a decent and much defendable score on the board.
