PTA directed all mobile phone service providers to suspended services in Red zone Islamabad till further orders

Islamabad: Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has directed all mobile service providers to shut down services in Red zone Islamabad till further orders.

According to sources, the decision has been taken to avert any possible and suspected attempt of terrorism on of Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehrik (PAT) in Red Zone. PTA sources said that decision has been taken on the request of Ministry of Interior that has tip off some terror attack on protesters gathering in Red Zone for PTI and PAT marches.
