ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Chairman Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) Muhammad Saleem Baig on Wednesday called on the Honorable Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar at his Chamber in the Supreme Court and presented a cheque as donation for the construction of Diamer Bhasha and Mohmand Dams fund on behalf of PEMRA Employees.
The PEMRA Officers have donated two days’ whereas officials have donated one-day salary for the Dam Fund.
The Chairman PEMRA also briefed the Honorable Chief Justice that PEMRA is taking all efforts for dissemination of Public Service Message through all TV channels, FM radios and Cable networks in order to create awareness among masses for generously contributing/ donating for this national cause.
It is pertinent to mention that the Justice of Pakistan has established a fund and public can contribute Rs 10 by texting “DAM” on 8000.
