It may be mentioned that talks between Pakistan Airline Pilots Association(PALPA)and Civil Aviation Authority failed on Monday evening and and CAA called demands of PALPA as unacceptable.

The Senior Joint Secretary Aviation Division directed PALP pilots to immediately attend to their scheduled flights.

PALPA is following Go-Slow policy and is demanding immediate replacement of Director Flights Operation, immediate withdrawal of all show cause notices, inquiries/ investigations and legal notices issued to pilots on disciplinary grounds and reinstatement of all grounded pilots, and fixation of seniority of pilots as per the wishes of PALPA. Over 90% schedule of PIA is in shamble due to PALPA-CAA contra.
