Pakistan leads the three-match Test series against England by 1-0 after the host defeated the opposition by 178 runs in the second cricket Test match played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium from October 22 to 26.

As compared to England, Pakistan has a better recent Test record. Pakistan won three out of last five Test matches while faced one defeat and another ended in a draw. Whereas England won two, lost two and one Test could not produce any result.

If Pakistan wins the third Test at Sharjah, its record of having never lost any Test series in UAE will remain intact.

“Obviously you have to think positively and we will do our best not leave any stone unturned and play well and win. Obviously your confidence is high after winning the last game and our team’s confidence is high, so its an important match for us and we will do our best to win it,” Pakistan Captain Misbah-ul-Haq was quoted as saying by espncricinfo.com

The three-match Test series between Pakistan and England will be followed by four one day internationals (ODIs) and three 20Twenty matches.
