RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Wednesday called upon the entire nation saying “Let us pledge today to clean ‘our Pakistan’ from fasaadis.”

In his message on Pakistan Day, the COAS said that on March 23, 1940 we pledged to create Pakistan, and we honorably succeeded in creation of our homeland.

“Let us pledge again today that we shall clean our country from facetious,” the COAS said according to a tweet by the Director General Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor.

“We all own Pakistan. Pakistan Zindabad,” he added.

Meanwhile, the nation is set to celebrate the 77th Pakistan Day on Thursday (March 23) with great national zeal and patriotic spirit for which elaborate arrangements have been made.

The Pakistan Day holds a significant place in the history of the Country and to mark it in a befitting manner, a spectacular joint armed services parade would be held at the venue near Shakarparian in Islamabad.
