RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Pakistan army has given a list of 76 terrorists to the Afghan officials, demanding their immediate hand over to Pakistan.

In a statement issued on Friday, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that the Afghan embassy officials were called in army’s general headquarters in Rawalpindi where they were handed over a list of 76 terrorists hiding in Afghanistan.

The ISPR said that Pakistan army asked the Afghan government to take immediate actions and hand those wanted terrorists over to Pakistan.

Earlier in the morning, once again terrorists attacked a Pakistani Border Post in Khyber agency from Afghanistan side but Pakistani security forces effectively responded.

However, in exchange of fire with the terrorists, two Frontier Corps (FC) soldiers embraced Shahadat.

Last night, a suicide blast ripped through Shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar in Sehwan Sharif, resulting in deaths of 81 persons including women and children while more than 150 were injured.

Following the attack, Pakistani security forces closed the border crossings at Torkham and Chaman for all sorts of traffic with immediate effects to stop entry of terrorists from Afghanistan.

Several banned terrorist organizations including Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Jamaat-ul-Ahrar are based in Afghanistan, and they have been carrying subversive activities in Pakistan from there.

The security forces have also increased patrolling, surveillance and checking on check posts along the Pak-Afghan border.

Since a couple of days, Pakistan has consistently been witnessing bomb blasts in various parts of the Country, targeting people from all walks of life.

Pakistan army said last night that recent terrorist accidents were being executed on directions from hostile powers and from sanctuaries in Afghanistan.

“Each drop of nation’s blood shall be revenged, and revenged immediately. No more restraint for anyone,” the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Bajwa said after the Sehwan blast.
