RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Pakistan army along with Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Quick Response Force (QRF) and Rescue 1122 teams have rescued all stranded people stuck in snow in Toheed Abad area of Nathiagali, Murree.
In a press release on Tuesday, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that the rescue operation was under taken early morning at 3:15 am under extreme weather conditions and heavy snow.
The IPSR said that those stuck in snow have been shifted to safer places in Murree/Kalabagh.

Earlier in a tweet, the Director General ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor said that a rescue team each of Pakistan army and PAF had been sent in support of the civil administration to clear the road and rescue stranded tourists near Nathiagali.
The director general ISPR said that the rescue teams were carrying medicines and food items. He said that the blocked road due to heavy snowfall and broken down vehicles near Toheed Abad was being cleared.
