NewsOver 600,000 people so far registered in Pakistan Citizens' Portal

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: So far over 600,000 people have registered themselves in Pakistan Citizens’ Portal, a mobile app allowing the people to have a direct access to the government officials for resolution of their issues.

Pakistan Citizens’ Portal was launched by Prime Minister Imran khan on October 28, 2018, and since then, an encouraging response has been received from Citizens with regards to registration and lodged complaints.

As per the statistics released after the completion of two months of the mobile app, more than 600,000 registered people have so far lodged 229,667 complaints.

Likewise 47,579 suggestions have also been received by the government via portal.

From Punjab, 105,794 complaints have so far been lodged, from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 26,790, from Sindh 31,698, from Balochistan 2,254, from Islamabad 61,644, from Gilgit Baltistan 184 and from Azad Kashmir 1,172 complaints have been received.

Meanwhile, it has been decided to carry out a departmental audit to make Pakistan Citizens’ Portal more effective and analyse its performance.

Earlier on December 16, Prime Minister Imran Khan in a twitter message urged the people to use the complaint portal to get immediate response and for effective resolution of their issues.

As per the figures given by the prime minister, 57 percent of the people who lodged complaints through the portal expressed their 100 percent satisfaction.
