NewsNo threat alerts issued, citizens must remain cautious: ISPR

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) has said that it has not issued any threat alerts, and asked citizens to keep an eye over such propaganda or fake calls.

Such propaganda aims to create fear and chaos, said the ISPR – the media wing of Pakistan’s military – in a statement issued on Thursday.

The ISPR said that the citizens must save themselves from the fake news or information.

It said that false threat alerts are circulating on social media regarding various cities.

“We haven’t issued threat alerts regarding any city,” said the ISPR.

The ISPR also said that in the future, the official website of ISPR – www.ispr.gov.pk – can be reached for confirmation.
