ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The National Press Club (NPC) Islamabad will inaugurate around the clock refreshment outlet in the lush green lawn of the Club on February 14.

With the inauguration of ‘Coffee خانہ (Khana)’ on Valentine Day 2017, the NPC will add another feature in the list of services being provided to the Journalist Community, becoming the first Press Club of Pakistan for providing around the clock refreshment outlet.IMG_20170208_123928

Talking to Dispatch News Desk (DND) news agency, two-times elected President NPC Shakeel Anjum said that there was no place for journalist community in the Capital City of Islamabad where journalists could come for refreshment 24 hours and 7 days a week.

Shakeel Anjum said that a large number of journalists who finish their work in eve hours by sending newspapers for printing have no place to go and refresh themselves by enjoying tea or coffee.

Coffee Khan will serve members of NPC around the clock and seven days a week with where they can come also with their families and enjoy ambiance of lush green ground and peaceful atmosphere”, maintained Shakeel Anjum.

It may be mentioned that NPC is providing subsidized three-time meal to over 2,000 members every day and Coffee Khana would be another addition for journalist community of capital.

The NPC recently inaugurated Library and Ladies room —- both facilities those had never been provided in past to journalists of the Capital City of Islamabad.

The Air Chief reiterated his resolve to further enhance the existing bilateral cooperation between the two strategic partners. Commander AFCENT appreciated Pakistan’s efforts in promoting regional peace and vowed to enhance cooperation in the fields of joint training, mutual exercises and military to military collaboration. In a separate meeting, Chief of the Air Staff also called on Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force.
