At a time when a large number of people have already been trapped in various scams i.e. internet banking fraud & bank accounts hacking, now a new issue of mobile scam calls has surfaced.

The new mobile fraud issue has been pointed out in social media, wherein the victims or survivors have shared their experiences. They said that it’s a new trick which is being used to access someone’s SIM Card and contacts list.Mobile Scam Calls being made to access people’s SIM Cards Information

As per complaints, the people have been receiving calls on their mobiles from following numbers;

Telephone number: +375602605281

Telephone number: +37127913091

Telephone number: +37178565072

Telephone number: +56322553736

Telephone number: +37052529259

Telephone number: +255901130460

Or any number starting from +371 +375 +381.

The callers only ring once and hang up. If the call receivers call back, they (callers) can copy their contact lists in three seconds and if they (call receivers) have bank account or credit card details on their phones, they (callers) can copy them too…

It is worth noting that;

+375 Code is for Belarus.

+371 Code is for Latvia.

+381 Code is for Serbia.

+563 Code is for Valparaiso.

+370 Code is for Vilnius.

+255 Code is for Tanzania.

The victims or survivors have advised fellow citizens not to answers such calls or call back.

In addition, they have also advised the people not to press #90 or #09 on their mobiles when asked by any caller.
