The Additional District & Sessions Judge in Larkana Gul Zameer Solangi has tendered his resignation from his Post over the ‘humiliating behaviour of Honourable Chief Justice of Pakistan Mr. Justice Saqib Nisar’, according to a letter circulating in social media.
In the letter forwarded to the Register Sindh High Court in Karachi dated June 26, 2018, Gul Zameer Solangi said “It is respectfully submitted that I have been working on the Post of Additional District & Sessions Judge since March 20, 2017 at Larkana. Due to humiliating behaviour of Honourable Chief Justice of Pakistan Mr. Justice Saqib Nisar during “Ongoing Court Proceedings” of my Court, which was widely aired in the electronic, print and social media, I have suffered deep anguish and injury to my self-respect and dignity; therefore, I am unable to continue my job with your esteemed organization.”
“Therefore, I tender my resignation from my above-mentioned post which may kindly be accepted with immediate effect.”
Last Saturday, the Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Mian Saqib Nisar during a surprise visit to the Sessions Court in Larkana expressed anger at the Additional District & Sessions Judge Gul Zameer Solangi and also threw his mobile phone onto the desk.

The Chief Justice warned the Sessions Judge to leave his mobile phone in his room during hearings. Justice Nisar also questioned the judge regarding the cases which were being heard by him, and over his failure to provide satisfactory answers, the Chief Justice lost his temper.
