Lahore, Pakistan: Accused Imran Ali  is arrested for allegedly raping and killing six-year-old Zainab Amin in city of Kasur of Pakistani Punjab.

Accused Imran Ali was born on April 18, 1994.

Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif while addressing a press conference along with father of deceased girl on Tuesday evening confirmed that accused Imran is a “serial killer”.

CM claimed that accused Imran Ali had confessed his crimes after matching his DNA with samples obtained from the dead body of  deceased Zainab.

Police claim that accused Imran Ali also confessed to kill seven other young girls in Kasur district after raping them during year 2015 to 2017. “His last victim was Zainab Amin”, said police sources.

Punjab government formed a Joint Investigation Team (JIT) to investigate the case comprising of experts from intelligence agencies and investigation units of civil and military organisations of Pakistan.

“Zainab’s murderer has been caught. His name is Imran. He is 24-year-old resident of Kasur and he is a serial killer,” CM Shehbaz stated during his press conference.

Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah was also sitting along with Chief Minister during press conference.

Punjab Government claims that DNA obtained by the body of deceased Zainab Amin has matched with DNA of accused Imran Ali son of Arshad resident of Court Road Kasur.

Accused Imran Ali was arrested by Police after the murder of Zainab Amin but he was released by the police due to reasons best known to Police only.

According to information, DNA of Imran Ali has matched with eight other innocent girls who had been murdered in same district during 2015, 2016 and 2017.

Police claim that Imran Ali had been killing young girls after raping them and mutilating their dead bodies.

It may be mentioned that six-year old Zainab Amin went missing after leaving her house in Kasur and her mutilated dead bodies was recovered on January 7, 2018.

Autopsy report of Zainab confirmed that she was strangled to death after rape.

“Kasur Police failed to track down serial killer for over two years and he successfully raped and killed seven innocent girls and Police also discouraged local media to report details of previous cases, said Khalid Dogar who is a local crime reporter in Kasur

Police sources claim that accused Imran Ali started raping and killing innocent girls after notorious “Sex videos” scandal from Kasur appeared in media.

Police sources say that Imran Ali during investigation said that if influential family could avoid punishment then he could also averted his arrest. Kasur district of Punjab is known for child rapes and murders as 719 cases were reported on child rapes and murders from Kasur during last three years.

A case of abusing and raping 451 children came on surface from Hussain Khanwala village in the District of Kasur in year 2015.

An influential local family was allegedly involved in forcing children to perform sex acts on video. The footage was sold in international porn-market.

Accused were arrested but then released and nothing concrete concluded in this historic case of producing forced child-pornography.
