ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad (ISSI) will organize a Seminar on “Hindu Nationalism and the Kashmir Dispute” in Islamabad on October 17 (Thursday).
The Seminar will be held at the Institute of Strategic Studies in Sector F-5/2, Islamabad.
The Programme will begin 10:45 am on October 17 with the Registration and the recitation from the Holy Quran.
The Director General ISSI Ambassador Aizaz Ahmed Chaudhry will deliver the welcome remarks.
The Professor at School of Politics and International Relations (SPIR) in Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU), Islamabad Dr Mujeeb Afzal will speak on “Hindu Nationalism and the Myth of Secular India”.
The former Secretary Defence Lt General (retd) Asif Yasin Malik will make a speech on “Fascist Leaders: Future of BJP?”, while the former Ambassador Muhammad Saeed Khalid will shed lights on “Kashmir: Dealing with Hindu Colonialism”.
Following the question/answer session, the Head of Kashmir Cell at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi will make a keynote address.
The Chairman ISSI Ambassador Khalid Mahmood will make the concluding remarks.
In the end, Tea/Coffee will also be served to the participants.
