ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: While expressing the resolve to purge the police of corruption, the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Mohammad Aamir Zulfiqar Khan has asked the citizens to lodge complaints against corrupt elements.

In his message to the general public, the IGP Islamabad Aamir Zulfiqar Khan said that citizens may directly register complaints with senior police officers against the police corruption, bullying, high-handedness, non-cooperation and abuse.

The IGP said that citizens may also send pictures and videos via WhatsApp if they find any malpractice on the part of Islamabad police. He assured that immediate action would be taken on such complaints.Islamabad Police Encourages Citizens to Lodge Complaints against Corrupt Officials

Meanwhile, phone numbers of senior police officers were also given via Islamabad Police Twitter account for citizens to lodge their complaints.
