Monitoring Desk: The Foreign Minister of Iran in a twitter message said that Iran and international powers have reached to an agreement while Iranian President in his twitter message said that all points will be resolved my June 30, 2015. US President Barack Obama called the deal as “historic”.

The framework of a deal that will limit nuclear programmes of Iran that was signed during negotiations held in Switzerland and lasted for days. Israel has strongly criticised the deal. The group of countries known as “P5+1” – the US, Russia, China, Britain, France and Germany  have been trying hard to reach an agreement with Iran to restrict the country’s nuclear program in return for a lifting the economic blockade imposed by the UN for nearly 18 months.

In a Press conference of Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini,  She (Federica Mogherini) said that inspection of nuclear facilities will open to negotiating countries and Iran will not continue processing that can lead to any weapon and  “solutions reached” in talks. She said that it has been decided that Fordow facility will be converted into a nuclear physics center with no fissile material. She said that it has been agreed that the Natantz facility would remain as the only nuclear power plant in the country and under the deal Tehran is obliged to refrain from creating nuclear weapons.

While Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in statement read in Persian language said that US and EU would stop implementing sanctions against Iran till the final agreement  to be reached by June 30 deadline. He said that Tehran would continue enrichment under peaceful nuclear program and within the framework of the agreement.

Sputnik news agency of Russia reported that the Iranian top diplomat said that all the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council would be terminated under the future nuclear agreement and nuclear issue would be endorsed by a new UN Security Council resolution.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in his twitter message said:

“Solutions on key parameters of Iran nuclear case reached. Drafting to start immediately, to finish by June 30th”.

 


According to initial reports, Iran will limit its nuclear program but not destroy its nuclear capabilities and “nuclear deal” will be signed by July 1, 2015. Initial agreement includes technical elements.

Britain, Russia, China and Germany struck a historic nuclear deal in Geneva to pave the way for the full resolution of the decade-old dispute over its nuclear energy program. The deal came to force on January 20.

“Agreement on framework for final agreement reached. Press conference following,” said German foreign ministry in his Twitter message.

As part of the deal which would last for the six-month period only, the world powers agreed to lift some of the existing sanctions against Iran, in exchange for Tehran’s confidence-building bid to limit certain aspects of its nuclear activities.

It may be mentioned that the joint statement was announced by Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and the European Union Foreign Policy Chief Federica Mogherini  in a university in Lausanne Switzerland.
