Monitoring News: Washington is paying more and more attention to China, and not to Russia to determine pace of modernization of the armed forces of China.
According to experts from the London International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS), Washington is paying more and more attention to China, and not to Russia, trying to determine pace of modernization of Armed forces of China and future needs of US armed forces.
IISS in one of its report indicates that the process of modernization of the armed forces of China is much faster than many analysts had expected.
“China is investing huge funds for military budget and extensively changing old technologies being used by its Air Force and Navy”, believe western military experts.
The annual report of IISS titled “Military balance” assesses the military potential and defense spending of many countries and comparing emerging military hardware trends with planning of US Armed Forces.
Meanwhile, Russia media report:
“Transformation of the armed forces of China began not yesterday. But now this country has either already reached or will soon reach a turning point, and from a military point of view, Beijing will be able to talk with Washington on an equal footing. Now, China and Russia do not live in Cold War Era and they are working not only quantity of military hardware rather quality of swift response military hardware. Navy and Air Force are two fields where they want to outclass United States before entering 2030”.
