ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Despite Pakistan’s continued protest with India over its ceasefire violations at the Line of Control (LoC), Indian troops once again initiated unprovoked firing at various sectors on Thursday morning and injured three Pakistani Civilians.

In a press release, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that Indian troops resorted to unprovoked firing at Battal, Jandrot and Hotspring sectors at the LoC.

Resultantly, three Pakistani Civilians were injured due to Indian firing, ISPR said.

The ISPR said that Pakistani troops effectively engaging Indian positions.

Pakistan has continuously been asking India to make sure that ceasefire agreement between the two Countries is respected, and its troops don’t open firing along the border.

Last month, the Advisor to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz in a letter written to the United Nations apprised the world body about the tension heightened by India at the LoC to hide its crimes against the innocent Kashmiris being perpetrated with impunity.

Sartaj Aziz expressed grave concern at the constant ceasefire violations by Indian forces at the LoC and the targeting of innocent Kashmiris in Azad Jammu & Kashmir.
