NewsHyundai Sonata Introduced At Pakistan Auto Show 2020

Hyundai Nishat introduced Hyundai Sonata at Pakistan Auto Show 2020 (PAPS 2020) held at the International Expo Centre Lahore. The Sonata wasn’t just any other car, but it was a long-awaited one. The rumors and speculations of the car being brought to Pakistan were ripe for so long, but the great time has finally come here.

The car was introduced by Hyundai Nishat on the last day of the Auto Show. The company plans to introduce the car official in Pakistan this year. It will be available for commercial purchase very soon.

HYUNDAI SONATA

Let’s discuss what all we know about the features of this much-awaited car. The Sonata has a 2.5-liter MPI engine with a six-speed automatic transmission paired with it. The said engine makes 178hp at 6000 rpm and 232 Nm of torque at 4000 rpm.

The retail price of the car is expected to be PKR 12 million (12,000,000Rs). For the engine this car offers and the punch it packs, the price seems to be pretty reasonable.

WHAT ELSE IS IN LINE FOR HYUNDAI NISHAT?

Hyundai Nishat Motor Company Private Limited is currently working in Pakistan to manufacture its Hyundai Porter H-100 truck at a plant in Faisalabad. Hyundai Pakistan spokesperson has stated that the manufacturing plant is operational and is ready to assemble as many vehicles as required.

Other than the Sonata, Nishat also introduced Tuscon, Elantra, Grand Starex, and Ioniq Hybrid among other vehicles in the Pakistan Auto Show 2020.
