LAHORE, Pakistan: Rain-thunderstorm with isolated heavy falls is expected at scattered places in Punjab including Sargodha, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan and Bahawalpur divisions during next 24 hours.

According to the Met office, seasonal low lies over north Balochistan with its trough extending north-eastwards. Monsoon currents are also penetrating upper and central parts of the country. A westerly wave is also affecting upper parts of the country and likely to persist during 36 to 48 hours.

Rain-thunderstorm occurred at a number of places in upper/central Punjab during last 48 hours.
