As many as 117 Guest Houses are situated in different residential areas or sectors of Islamabad, most of them are in F-7 sector followed by 23 in F-8 sector.

The above nonconforming use of residential premises is still existing at present due to litigation matters in the Islamabad High Court (IHC) and the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
