RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Zubair Mahmood Hayat has been conferred the Highest Military Award of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ‘King Abdul Aziz Medal of Excellence’.

In a press release issued in Rawalpindi on Wednesday, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that during his official visit to Saudi Arabia, the CJCSC held a meeting with the Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud.

The Saudi King appreciated Pakistan’s fight against terrorism and continued efforts for peace and stability in the region.Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Zubair Mahmood Hayat called on the Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud

Separately, the CJCSC also called on the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia General Abdur Rehman bin Saleh Al-Bunyan in Jeddah.

During the meeting, they discussed regional security issues and matters of bilateral interests, the ISPR said.
