NewsFarhatullah Babar denies having any social media account

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) General Secretary Farhatullah Babar has said that he has no Facebook, Twitter or any other social media account.

In a statement on Tuesday, Farhatullah Babar said that if an account is being operated on his name, that is fake. He said that he has no link with any such account whatsoever.

The PPP senior leader and former Senator Farhatullah Babar stole the limelight on March 7 when delivered a fiery farewell speech at the Upper House, criticizing the institutions as well as his own party over their failure to assure across the board accountability.

However, a day after, the Co-Chairman PPP Asif Ali Zardari removed Farhatullah Babar as his Spokesperson. Though Farhatullah Babar himself and PPP leaders maintained that the former himself tendered his resignation as the Spokesperson of Asif Ali Zardari.
