RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Rashad Mahmood conferred Civil Awards upon eminent scientists and engineers for their meritorious services at the Investiture Ceremony held at Joint Staff Headquarters in Rawalpindi on Tuesday, according to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Those scientists and engineers who received Civil Awards were working in Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC), Khan Research Laboratories (KRL), National Engineering and Scientific Commission (NESCOM), Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) and Strategic Plans Division (SPD).

The CJCSC conferred Civil Awards upon them on behalf of President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain.
