ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The mourning processions are being taken out on Thursday across the Country to mark the Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and other Shuhada-e-Karbala with religious spirit‚ devotion, and respect.
In the mourning processions and Majalis, Zakirs and Scholars are paying tributes to the family of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him).
They are also highlighting the significance of the supreme sacrifices of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and his followers rendered in Karbala for the cause of Islam and to give an eternal lease of life to the high values of humanity.

Meanwhile, elaborate security arrangements have been made throughout the Country to avoid the occurrence of any untoward incident and provide safety to the participants of the processions.
In line with the security plan devised to ensure peace, mobile phone services also remained suspended in several Cities and Districts of the Country.
Due to the Chehlum procession, all Public and Private Educational Institutes i.e Universities, Colleges and Schools situation within the Municipal Limit of Tehsil Rawalpindi excluding Cantonment areas remained closed today.
