NewsCGSS Executive Director meets SCO Deputy Secretary-General in Baku

BAKU, Azerbaijan: The Center for Global and Strategic Studies (CGSS) Executive Director Lt Colonel (retd) Khalid Taimur Akram on Monday held a meeting with the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Deputy Secretary-General Sherali Jononov in Baku, the Capital of Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, the SCO’s positive role for the region was discussed as well as the impact of SCO’s immense potential and capacity for Regional Integration.

The SCO Deputy Secretary-General Sherali Jononov appreciated the role of the CGSS in strengthening bilateral relations between Pakistan and SCO Countries, and various initiatives taken by the CGSS for the better production of SCO projects.

It was also decided during the meeting that the CGSS will work closely with the SCO to enhance and promote regional connectivity in the coming days.
