The Candlelight Vigil Ceremonies were organized in South Africa to pay glowing tribute to the APS Martyrs who lost their lives in a terror attack at Army Public School in Peshawar five years ago.

A large number of the Pakistani Community including women and children attended the Ceremonies which were held in 14 Cities and Locations in South Africa i.e Pretoria, Johannesburg, Durban, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, East London, Lodium, Lenasia, Brits, Groblersdal, Vryheid, Kwazulu-Natal, Nelspruit and Mpumalanga.

In the Candlelight Vigil, banners depicting names and pictures of APS martyrs were displayed and candles were lit.

The members of the Pakistani Community laid flowers and also offered Fateh for the departed souls.

More than 150 people including 134 children and staff members of APS Peshawar lost their lives in a blatant act of terrorism committed by the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) at the School on December 16, 2014.

The fifth anniversary of APS Carnage was also observed across Pakistan on Monday with the pledge that nefarious design of the enemies would never be allowed to succeed.

A number of activities and functions including the main ceremony at the Army Public School and College (APSAC) in Peshawar were held throughout the Country to remember the sacrifices of the innocent children.
