The Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) was established in 1977 under Punjab Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education Act No. XIII of 1976. It hosts Intermediate and Secondary Examination in districts of Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum and Rawalpindi (The defunct Civil Division of Rawalpindi). It is one of growing boards across Punjab, trusted by students for its transparency and strictness. BISE Rawalpindi co-ordinates with 9 other boards in Punjab, it along with other boards is striving for a better educational system under the governance of Punjab Government.
