Various Punjab boards have announced their respective matric results 2017 on Tuesday morning (July 25) as per the earlier announcements.

The result of Secondary School Certificates (SSC) annual examination 2017 announced by all Punjab boards is available on their respective websites.

Therefore, wait is over for thousands of Students across the Punjab province, and they can check their results by visiting websites of their respective boards or Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISEs).

Meanwhile in the Rawalpindi BISE, a total pass percentage has remained 77.72 percent in matric annual examination 2017, and in which girls outshined boys as 6 girls students namely Amber Liaquat Chaudhary (Roll No 878,489), Maryam Khalid (Roll No 847216), Areeba Aslam (Roll No 878431), Um-e-Salma (Roll No 823100), Rameesa Wajid (Roll No 826877) and Memoona Afzal (Roll No 877078) got over-all first top 3 positions and 3 boys named as Syed Aayan Saqib (Roll No 911780),  Ubaidullah (Roll No 911770) and Ahmed Noor (Roll No 813634) could find place in the top 10 positions in science and arts groups.

In the Sargodha BISE, pass percentage has remained 80.33. Three girls namely Sadaf Safdar (Roll No 200669), Zainab Iftikhar (Roll No 206272) and Aqsa Ramey (Roll No 213751) got overall first position in the board with 1083 marks each.

Irtaza Azhar (Roll No 246901) bagged the second position while Abdul Basit (Roll No 220174) and Manal Shoukat (Roll No 251927) secured the third position.

In the Faisalabad BISE, Maira Younis (Roll No 401028) and Maryam Zahra (Roll No 425106) both stood overall first with 1090 marks each in the annual matriculation examination 2017.

Similarly, Rikza Saeed (Roll No 425093) secured the overall second position whereas Mariam Ashraf (Roll No 407869) and Saad Amjad (Roll No 444559) bagged the overall third position.

On the sidelines of Bahrain International Airshow, Commander of Ninth Air Force (US Air Forces Central Command — AFCENT), Lieutenant General Derek France called on Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force. The Air Chief reiterated his resolve to further enhance the existing bilateral cooperation between the two strategic partners. Commander AFCENT appreciated Pakistan’s efforts in promoting regional peace and vowed to enhance cooperation in the fields of joint training, mutual exercises and military to military collaboration. In a separate meeting, Chief of the Air Staff also called on Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force.
