The BISE Lahore has just rolled out their 9th class results, this article is dedicated to those of you who couldn’t succeed in the currently announced results. Some of you must be heart broken, some of you cursing BISE Lahore, some of may not even care. Who am I to judge or why should anyone believe me. I write for this small blog – apart from this website – which probably no one reads, but if you are reading this and going through the worst period of your life, I quote Steve Jobs here for you.

Steve Jobs was the founder of Apple Computers, famous for it’s iPhone’s. Steve ones gave a commencement address at Standford, the following is the text of that particular speech.
Jobs was once fired from Apple, the company he created, failing in an examination is nothing compared to that. This is what he said about that experience and his success afterwards:
“I’m pretty sure none of this would have happened if I hadn’t been fired from Apple. It was awful tasting medicine, but I guess the patient needed it. Sometimes life hits you in the head with a brick. Don’t lose faith.”
Jobs has an inspiring story, if you can watch his whole commencement address but what I can summarize is: Your life is a well designed picture, created by something greater than you, your job is to connect the dots and complete that picture. The problem is we can’t see the picture until it’s done, what we can do is work harder and try to progress. All your difficulties and failures will fade away with time, what remains is the picture you created.
If you have faced failures, get over them, work harder. Do not cry, or blame BISE Lahore or anyone else for your failure, accept it and progress. That’s how life works.
