RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Commander of the National Guard of the Kingdom of Bahrain Lieutenant General Sheikh Mohamed Bin Isa Bin Salman Al-Khalifa held a meeting with the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at the army’s general headquarters in Rawalpindi on Monday.

In a press release, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that the two top military leaders discussed matters related to regional security and professional interests during the meeting.commander-of-the-national-guard-of-the-kingdom-of-bahrain-lieutenant-general-sheikh-mohamed-bin-isa-bin-salman-al-khalifa-and-general-qamar-javed-bajwa

The ISPR further said that the visiting dignitary congratulated General Qamar Javed Bajwa on assumption of Command of Pakistan Army.

The former Corps Commander Rawalpindi General Qamar Javed Bajwa became Pakistan’s 16th Army Chief last month following the retirement of General Raheel Sharif.
