Ayyan Ali pregnant in Jail, claims Mubashir LucmanAyyan Ali is Pregnant in Jail, according to Mubashir Lucman’s sources

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The supermodel Ayyan Ali, who is currently detained in Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail in currency smuggling case, is five months pregnant, claims senior journalist Mubashir Luqman.

In a series of tweets on June 27, Mubashir Luqman wrote that Ayyan Ali is pregnant and in addition, he also claimed that the money carried by her at the airport had actually been given to her as a gift.

Mubashir Luqman said that the authorities have confirmed the latest news about Ayyan Ali. He also, though he didn’t mention the name, described it as a ‘bad news’ for Ayyan Ali as well as for ‘someone in Dubai’.

The 21-year-old Ayyan Ali was arrested on March 14 this year by Custom Officials from the Benazir Bhutto International Airport in Rawalpindi for attempting to fly out to Dubai with over $0.5 million.

Since then, she is being detained at Adiala Jail while a hearing regarding her involvement in currency smuggling case also continues in a Rawalpindi Custom Court.

Ayyan Ali claims that she did not intend to go abroad with the foreign currency found in her luggage. Ayyan Ali says that she received the money after selling some of her properties and at the airport, she was attempting to hand it over to her brother before boarding a Dubai-bound plane.

The supermodel’s judicial remand has been extended at least 13 times since her trial began at the Rawalpindi customs court and on Monday, the Lahore High Court (LHC) also rejected her bail plea.

Without a shadow of a doubt, we will continue to expose the abuses and sanctimony with which the US is handling the situation.
