RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Pakistan army has said that if India resorts to any misadventure against Pakistan on the pretext of false accusations of infiltration and presence of alleged terrorists camps, it will have serious consequences for regional peace.
It’s worth noting that talking to media in Chennai on Monday, the Indian Army Chief General Bipin Rawat alleged that terror camp in Pakistan’s Balakot has been reactivated and that there are at least 500 people waiting to infiltrate into the Indian Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IOJ&K) from Pakistan.
Responding to the Indian Army Chief’s comment, the Director General ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor said that irresponsible statements by Indian Military Commanders particularly about Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJ&K) are expression of their frustration due to their failure to handle the situation in IOJ&K and attempts to divert world’s attention from Indian state terrorism and siege of IOJ&K.
The director genial ISPR said that accusations of infiltration and presence of alleged terrorists camps are pretext for a false flag operation and misadventure which if tried shall have serious consequences for regional peace.
Major General Asif Ghafoor further said that Pakistan armed forces are fully prepared to respond to any aggression and misadventure regardless of its cost.
Recently addressing a ceremony, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa assured the nation that Pakistan army would never disappoint them.
The Army Chief said that if any inimical force ever casts an evil eye to Pakistan or tries to destabilize the Country, Pakistan army and all institutions would defend the Country and foil their nefarious designs.
Earlier the Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr Mohammad Faisal strongly rebutted the baseless statement of the Indian Army Chief, and emphasized that the Indian allegations of “infiltration” from Pakistan reflected a desperate attempt to divert international attention from the humanitarian nightmare in Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir being perpetrated by Indian occupation forces.
The Spokesperson added that India would succeed neither in misleading the world community through these diversionary tactics nor will India be able to hide its unabated state-terrorism in IOJ&K.
