ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The 42nd National Seerat Conference titled “leading principles of national leadership in Islamic state in the light of the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH)” will be held in Islamabad on Saturday (13th Rabi-ul-Awwal) with an aim to highlight soft image of Islam.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has almost finalized the preparations for holding 42nd National Seerat Conference in a befitting manner.
The National Seerat Conference would be inaugurated at 10:00 am.
Talking to the state-run news agency, an official of the ministry said that 2500 invitations have already been sent to prominent Ulema and scholars from across the Country and abroad to attend the conference.
As many as 20 scholars of Jordan, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Tunisia, Morocco, Indonesia, Turkey, Kazakhstan, China, Bahrain, Egypt, Algeria and Afghanistan would participate in the conference.
The Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousaf will deliver welcome address. As many as two sessions would be held on 13th Rabi-ul-Awwal 1439 to commemorate the event in a befitting manner.
In the conference, Ulema and scholars will highlight different aspects of the life of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) the last messenger of Allah Almighty.
The second session will be chaired by Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony.
As many as 21 authors would be awarded prizes on writing excellent books in category of Seerat and Na’at while 32 scholars would be awarded prizes on writing winning research papers on Seerat in second session of the conference.
