HYDERABAD, Pakistan: As many as 11 passengers including eight women died while three other women were injured in a traffic accident in the suburb of Hyderabad on Monday, the rescue sources said.

The rescue sources said that the incident occurred on Tando Muhammad Khan Road where a speedy truck and a van collided with each other near Hostri.

The Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Hostry Dost Muhammad Mangrio also confirmed the incident, and said said that the collision caused deaths of at least 11 people including eight women.

The rescue sources further said that the four dead people on board the van belonged to a Private Company, and they were going to nearby village to purchase some commodities.

The dead bodies and three injured women were shifted to Civil Hospital.
