In the mid of 2020 Toyota Indus Motor Company (IMC) launched the new variants of the Fortuner and Hilux in Thailand. The flagship variants of both these vehicles, the Fortuner Legender and the Revo Rocco, received an additional trim-level that incorporate some improvements. These vehicles already maintain a star popularity among Pakistani car community.

Toyota Fortuner and Hilux Facelifts

The new Toyota Fortuner and Hilux facelifts have recently been spotted on the highways of Pakistan. It is a little challenging to pin point the exact detail as they were covered in dark skin. the skin did however say “It’s worth the wait” meaning that Toyota Pakistan does have something for it’s customers coming soon.

   

Although the the new variants of both models do not pack any performance related upgrades as such, they come as appearance packages with major facelifts. Let’s see what they have to offer.

Highlights

The Fortuner Legender has had some major changes visually. The front fascia is more aggressive with an all new DRL arrangement and dual projector LED headlights. Between them is are blacked out upper and lower grilles with the upper being slimmer than the lower. Around the back, the rear bumper and the LED taillights have both received a new design along with sequential LED indicators and edgy glossy roof spoiler.

The new Toyota Fortuner comes with additional safety features including lane departure warning, collision warning and an adaptive cruise control that are part of the Toyota Safety Sense.

The Revo Rocco has subtle changes in it’s look which can be noticed around it’s body. It’s facelift changes lean more towards a darker tint and tone. With an all blacked-out front grille, blacked-out alloy rims, matte-black trim pieces around the body. The scuff plate also, has a new design.

It has been some time since Pakistani enthusiasts of these vehicles have been able to see a face for them. After what Toyota Pakistan just pulled off, there is a wind of excitement. However, the price premium these variants offer will not make it an easy choice even for the most passionate buyers.
