For the individuals who accept the Pakistan music industry has nothing to offer, hold up a second and reconsider. Surmise, you haven’t yet seen Nescafe Basement Season 3. After attending Nescafe Basement 3 jam session, I can utter without hesitation that, NB 3 will not disappoint their fans and will cop up with the image and respect they have achieved last year.

Nescafe Basement was a stage launched by Music Maestro Xulfi. It first turned out in summer 2012 and got respectable group of onlookers. In a short time span, Nescafe Basement turned out to be greater and better then expected by majority of music addicts. Running parallel to Coke Studio’s Season 6 last year, Basement’s season 2  was trending on social media and search engines for their viral content such as  Akhiyan, initially sung by the quite hailed and unrivaled Shafqat Amanat Ali in his time with the band Fuzon and Tere Ishq Mein initially sung by the commended Muhammad Ali Shaiki & Allan Faqir back in the 1980s for Ptvs Rang Tarang. Both tracks have seen sensational achievement prior at the time of their unique discharges, Akhiyan in 2005 and Tere Ishq Mein as ahead of schedule as in the 1980s.

Coming to Akhiyan secured by Hamza Tanveer. Making an endeavor to cover something by Shafqat Amanat is an accomplishment in itself and doing the occupation so well is next level achievement. The sweet shake touch added to the tune and the immaculate acoustics give the vitality to the melody that kept young people murmuring to the beats of the track. The substantial and animating lead guitar riffs prompting the softening sitar, woodwind and violin tunes moved the melody into total achievement. For me the lines “tey Jind tere Na vi Na Layi, Mar Devin Mein Thoon Mukh na Mori. Dewaan Roun Aeho Duhayi” were sufficient to bring those the creeps. Furthermore the change of the delicate tunes into the electric beats bringing the state of mind of the melody to some degree miserable, that is indefinable joy. All through the tune, what quietly added to the temperament of the melody were faultless sponsorship vocals. All things considered, for me the melody couldn’t be secured any better!

And afterward there’s Tere Ishq Mein secured by Asfer Hussain & Rizwan Butt. In the event that there could be much else relieving than this track, I wager it must be worked REALLY hard on! Beginning with a super mitigating woodwind & incomparable acoustics, the opening vocals of Rizwan Butt and the lifted mind-set of the tune, it keeps you listening to all the harmonies, the vocals, the alaaps and each instrument with eyes shut and sheer centering. And after that comes Asfer Hussain with the calming vocals that keep you moving automatically to the beats of the music. The performance of lead guitar adding the current touch to the people couldn’t go unnoticed either. For me the lines “Jisay Dariya Ka Paani Jeewan Day, Usay Dariya Ki Lehron Se Darna Kya” were the characterizing vocals of the melody. Asfer’s finished control over the fluctuating high and low notes, Rizwan’s alaaps and the unmatchable sponsorship vocals consolidated with the splendidly played music, brought to screen the best conceivable spread of the 80′s wonder.

Of the total of 26 artists being featured this Season, only 7 are repeat artists from last year. The young talent is still powered by Xulfi and trying their best to produce the best out of the box. Nescafe Basement Season 3 will be released soon.

Last year we also posted an article which was a fire starter over NB2 vs CS6
