MASHKAY, Balochistan: Rockets were fired at a helicopter carrying the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) Chairman in Balochistan province on Thursday, but luckily no one was hurt in the incident.

The NDMA chairman Major General Saeed Aleem, who is on a visit to the earthquake-affected areas to review on-going relief and rescue efforts, was traveling when his helicopter came under rocket fire while it was landing in Mashkay area, a tehsil of the Awaran district in Balochistan province.

Fortunately, on one was injured in the attack.
