LAHORE, Pakistan: The Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has approved in principle the establishment of Sahulat Bazaars throughout the province to ensure the provision of food stuff to the masses at affordable prices.

In this regard, the Additional Chief Secretary Local Government Tahir Khurshid has been instructed to take immediate measures.

Tahir Khurshid has subsequently issued directives to the department to establish Sahulat Bazaars in various Cities of the province to provide food commodities at cheap prices.Sahulat Bazaars - The Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has approved in principle the establishment of Sahulat Bazaars throughout the province to ensure the provision of food stuff to the masses at affordable prices. In this regard, the Additional Chief Secretary Local Government Tahir Khurshid has been instructed to take immediate measures. Tahir Khurshid has subsequently issued directives to the department to establish Sahulat Bazaars in various Cities of the province to provide food commodities at cheap prices. The Special Secretary Local Government has been appointed as the Focal Person for Sahulat Bazaars in Punjab. Under the directives of the Chief Minister Punjab, six Sahulat Bazaars have already been established in Lahore. In Sahulat Bazaars, flour and other necessary food items will be available at officially notified rates. It will help provide relief to the people from inflation. In a statement, Usman Buzdar said that artificial increase in the prices of vegetables, fruits, and pulses will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Usman Buzdar said that we will ensure the protection of the rights of the people at all costs.

The Special Secretary Local Government has been appointed as the Focal Person for Sahulat Bazaars in Punjab.

Under the directives of the Chief Minister Punjab, 31 Sahulat Bazaars have already been established in Lahore.

In Sahulat Bazaars, flour and other necessary food items will be available at officially notified rates. It will help provide relief to the people from inflation.

In a statement, Usman Buzdar said that artificial increase in the prices of vegetables, fruits, and pulses will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

Usman Buzdar said that we will ensure the protection of the rights of the people at all costs.
