LAHORE, Pakistan: The Punjab government and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have agreed to enhance mutual cooperation, economic relations and promote investment.

The understanding was reached when the UAE Ambassador to Pakistan Hamad Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al Zaab held a meeting with the Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar in Lahore on Wednesday.

During the meeting, enhancement of bilateral relations and mutual cooperation in different sectors came under discussion.

The Cuban Ambassador to Pakistan Gabriel Tiel Capote also met Usman Buzdar in Lahore and exchange views on enhancing the cooperation in the health care sector between Punjab and Cuba.

Usman Buzdar said that they are ready to benefit from Cuba’s expertise in the health sector.

The Chief Minister told the ambassador that Prime Minister Imran Khan has taken remarkable initiatives in a very short period of time.
