PESHAWAR, Pakistan: At least six persons including four children were killed and 10 others injured in torrential rains and flash flood related incidents in different districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during last days.
Officials in the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) told the state-run news agency in Peshawar that two persons died in Haripur and one child each in Buner, Swabi, Mardan and Mansehra.
Out of the total five injured, one person sustained injuries in Buner, two in Swabi and three in Mardan respectively.
Against total 27 damaged houses in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 13 houses including one in Swabi, five in Charsadda, three in Mansehra, four in Lakki Marwat were fully damaged whereas 14 were partially damaged one each in Buner, Swabi, three each in Mardan, Charsadda and four in Lakki Marwat.
