The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police has taken the following steps to curb the incidents of theft, mobile snatching and street crimes:

  1. Identification of Crime pockets and intelligence-based Policing.
  2. Monitoring through Safe City Cameras.
  3. Establishment of Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI), bifurcation of Operation and Investigation.
  4. Identification parade of all busted gangs.
  5. Extensive Social Media Campaign against criminals for public safety.
  6. Community Policing, Khuli Katcharies and FIRs at door step.
  7. Robust Complaint Redressal system for public.
  8. Dolphin Squad has been established on the pattern of Dolphin Force Punjab.
