NationalSindh police introduce new driving license system

KARACHI, Pakistan: Inspector General (IG) of Sindh Police A.D Khawaja has introduced new computerized driving license system on Tuesday.

Talking to media, the IG Sindh said that the new driving license will be linked with National Database and Registration Authority’s (NADRA) online system.

Renewal of old the license will take around 15 minutes while new license will be issued within 40 minute. Citizens could submit license fee in any bank, he added.

The IG Sindh said that this move will help to deal with fake driving licenses. Also, he said, one-window operation has made the process less hectic for the applicants.

A.D Khawaja said that latest driving license system will be acceptable in any part of the world.
