KHAIRPUR, Pakistan: The Rotary Club Khairpur Bhittai in collaboration with Hunnain Asad Public School MB Sheikh Qazi Bhutta commemorated the 73rd death anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah by launching a tree plantation drive and holding a speech competition among the young emerging souls mainly the brilliant students in Sobhodero Tehsil of Sindh’s Khairpur District.

The President Rotary Club Khairpur Bhittai Sarfaraz Ali Korejo presided over the memorable event.

The former Chairperson Department of Commerce at Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur Professor Dr. Muhammad Aslam Memon was the Chief Guest while the CEO Hunnain Asad Public School MB Sheikh Qazi Bhutta Syed Asad Ali Shah was the Guest of Honour.

Talking at the occasion, Bhittai Sarfaraz Ali Korejo highlighted the role of the Rotary International and Bhittai Club Khairpur for the promotion of peace, education, environment and health standards in detail.

Korejo reiterated that every possible help, support& assistance would be provided in all prescribed specific areas of rotary interventions. He announced 600 trees to be provided by the club to the management of the school and strive for the uplifting life standards of poorest communities through rotary collaboration.

Bhittai Sarfaraz Ali Korejo said that the mission of Quaid-e-Azam is the mission of Rotary International& all available resources would be provided in this regard.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) would be inked very soon with the two schools of knowledge learning as a huge resource of catering quality education for the underprivileged children of most neglected areas of this region.

The Honourable Chief Guest of the event Dr. Muhammad Aslam Memon greatly appreciated the tremendous community service rendered by the Rotary Club Khairpur Bhittai & Hunnain Asad Public School, and hoped for the best outcome through mutual cooperation and coordination.

Earlier in his welcome address, the CEO Hunnain Asad Public School Syed Asad Ali Shah thanked the leadership of Rotary Club Khairpur Bhittai and other delegates.

Syed Asad Ali Shah enlightened the participants about the school in terms of its enrolment and study projects in hand. He sought help and support from the Rotary Club Khairpur Bhittai’s leadership in imparting excellent quality education and awareness about health and hygiene issues to the families of enrolled students.

The Principal of Hunnain Asad Public School Nizamuddin Luck paid the vote of thanks.

Prior to this, a group of brilliant students delivered their speeches and performed Milli Naghamma on “The Role of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah in achieving the SDGs and Rotary Mission”.

The event concluded with the plantation of neem trees & fellowship tea hosted by the leadership of the Rotary Club Khairpur Bhittai.
