PESHAWAR, Pakistan: Thousands of people held solidarity rallies in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) on Friday in support of their Kashmiri brethren, who have been under India’s vicious and barbaric rule since decades but now are forced to endure even more inhuman behaviour of the usurper.

The rallies were taken out in various parts of the province including in Peshawar, Bannu, Haripur, Chitral, and Jehangira.

The Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mehmood Khan along the Provincial Cabinet Members led the Central Kashmir Solidarity Rally which began from Civil Secretariat in Peshawar.

The participants of the rally were holding Pakistani and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) flags and banners which read “We Stand with Kashmir”, “Solidarity with the People of Kashmir”, “Kashmir Hun”, and “Kashmir is Pakistan’s jugular vein”.

The Chief Minister KPK Mehmood Khan and Provincial Ministers also addressed the rally participants, and pledged their profound support to Kashmiri people.

The people of Bannu also come out for Kashmir Solidarity Hour to record their support for the Kashmiris struggling for freedom from the cruel regime of Modi Sarkar.

The Commissioner Bannu led the rally. Besides a huge number of people, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Deputy Commissioner, and local leaders also participated in the Kashmir Solidarity rally in Bannu.

The local leadership and workers of ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) also staged a protest in front of the Press Club Bannu to denounce India’s gross human rights violations in Occupied Kashmir.

In Chitral also, the people took to the roads to show that Indian aggression will not be tolerated in Kashmir anymore.

The Kashmir Solidarity Rally was also taken out in Jehangira town of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Nowshera district under the leadership of Assistant Commissioner Jehangira Dr Saman Abbas.

The residents of Haripur also observed the Kashmir Solidarity Hour. The traffic remained jammed on Haripur Road from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm, and the people slammed the Indian government for carrying out the worst form of barbarism in the Occupied Kashmir.

On the sidelines of Bahrain International Airshow, Commander of Ninth Air Force (US Air Forces Central Command — AFCENT), Lieutenant General Derek France called on Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force. The Air Chief reiterated his resolve to further enhance the existing bilateral cooperation between the two strategic partners. Commander AFCENT appreciated Pakistan’s efforts in promoting regional peace and vowed to enhance cooperation in the fields of joint training, mutual exercises and military to military collaboration. In a separate meeting, Chief of the Air Staff also called on Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force.
