LAHORE, Pakistan: The Punjab Minister for Labour & Human Resource Raja Ashfaq Sarwar has said that the provincial government will fully utilize services of international advocacy firm Mckinsey & Company for skill training, accreditation and employment of two million youth of the province under Punjab Growth Strategy 2018.

More than 15 construction and trade companies have shown keen interest to employee trained graduates of Punjab for completion of mega projects of UAE, Saudi Arabia and other countries.

He stated this during a meeting with Partner Head Mckinsey & Company LME Limited Tom Isherwood. Associate Principal Mckinsey & Company Taimur Khan, CEO Punjab Skills Development Fund (PSDF) Ali Akbar Bosan and officers of Labour Department attended the meeting.

The Minister apprised the meeting that syllabus of technical training institutes including TEVTA, PVTC and PSDF has been revamped and a Placement Cell has already started functioning under TEVTA, sending thousands of skilled graduates abroad for completion of mega construction projects.
